Persuasive Essay on Child Abuse: A Social Disaster

Child abuse is the issue, which can not be either neglected or ignored. This is the problem, which demands the constant attention from the sides of all the people, as the number of different tragedies taking place because of the children abuse is just threatening. That is why persuasive essay on child abuse has become so popular nowadays, as it is really high time to start speaking about this problem loudly.

Exploring Child Abuse Issue

It is impossible to make a gradation of children abuse depending on some social factors, neither age, sex, nor social position are not able to protect child from being abused. Speculate about this phenomenon in your persuasive essay on child abuse in order to prove that abuse is taking place in all the social groups. You can tell that you have never seen the child being victimized, however, not to see and do not want to see are two opposite things.

The number of ways the child can be abused is just uncountable. Mention several of them in your persuasive essay on child abuse in order to make it more evident and to speak of the problem of child abuse on the proper level. Here are two main ways of children abuse to deal with in your persuasive essay on child abuse writing:

  • Bullying the child either by the parents, or by the teachers at school; this kind of child abuse is also a very common notion among children. This problem is a very serious one as it ruins he child’s personality, kills the desire to live and to dream about the future. The statistics insist, that only 27 per cent of people fully recover from being abused in childhood, the rest 73 per cent suffers from the act of abusing during their whole life.
  • Making to earn from the earliest years; nowadays, the financial potion of people is not good enough at all that is why a lot of children are made to work from the earliest years. If the work is rather simple one, for example, such as newspapers delivering, (if they are not too heavy) or acting at some theater, or TV programmes, there is nothing to be afraid of. However, the practice shows that the majority of children are forced to work in hazardous jobs (where the payment is a little bit higher) and it greatly and badly influences their health in future.

This issue deserves a proper attention, mention this fact in your persuasive essay on child abuse writing and try to prevent at least, one child from being abused with the help of your persuasive essay on child abuse, which really persuades to pay the great attention to such a social disaster.

Help Regarding Persuasive Essay

Well i wrote the essay and wanted you guys to see how it went. I request you guys to proof read it and give your suggestion as to how i can improve it. The question emphasized that it should be in a form of a letter so i wrote it in the form of a letter to the parents..

You were planning on shifting the house and you gave me two choices of choosing from the neighborhood outside the city or a farm in the country. We currently live in city and I have lived in city all my life and so I love it here. So I choose the option of shifting the house to the neighborhood outside the city. I think the little change would be good in life and everyone should have changes in their lives. Moving to a farm in the country would prove to be a drastic change which I think should not happen. I strongly believe that we should shift to the neighborhood which is just outside the city and not in the country.

Some people believe that it is easier to shop in the country; I think that shopping is easier and fun in the city because there is always more variety. In the country there is not much of variety because there aren’t many places to chop in the country. Shopping malls are being built in the city and not in the country. People in the country come all the way to the city to shop and have fun themselves. Incase of emergency, articles are easy to find and access when we are living in a suburb rather than living in country. Newer companies are entering the market and most of the companies want their businesses and offices to be established in the city or a suburb rather than in the countryside.

Another group of people believe that it is difficult to have access to internet and other technologies as we do not reside in the country. This is surely not the case in the suburbs. People in suburbs have access to internet and other technologies easily and perhaps even at a cheaper rate than when compared to the country. Some technologies like handheld gaming gadgets are not even heard of in some countries just because they haven’t been introduced there. Handheld computers or simply known as the PDA’s are not famous in the country which proves to help the user in many different ways. Organizing and E-mail are just a few services offered by the PDA’s. Furthermore, it is often that is no mobile reception which makes the mobile phones useless.

Unlike the people who reside in country, people in suburbs can easily access the city because it is not too far from thee city itself. Residing in suburbs leaves more choices when compared to that of country. It provides more entertainment for example going to the cinema and watching movies with friends. Another example can be going to the mall and just hanging around with friends. Well if we are moving, I will miss my friends a lot. And if we move to a neighborhood just outside the city then I can easily get to them and in a limited amount of time. I can go to the same university I am going to because again, it is easy to access the city. Comparing to living in the countryside, this also helps dad to go for work in the morning and easily going to the office in downtown because of the less travelling needed to reach the office.

Being in country we cannot get jobs which are paid accordingly. Staying in the suburb, I can get a job for myself. Me having a good job with the deserving salary helps dad for saving the money. This can also benefit in a manner that it helps us enjoy more luxury. There is an added advantage of dad not having the trouble of becoming my driver because I already have a license to drive. Having a job will help me save money for my new car which I have been planning on since the day I had the craze for cars.

Finally, I think we should be shifting to a neighborhood just outside the city and not in the countryside. This is because we have easy access to the city primarily. Another reason is shopping which is easy in the suburb unlike the country. Third reason is having the access of computers, internet and other technologies with ease and certainly the easy availability of jobs with better salary than those available in the country help support my stand on shifting to a suburb and rather not to the country.

you dont have any points on the good of the country side, you just say we have more opportunities in town, thats not always true, i live on a farm and have plenty of work to do, just make sure you point out goods and bads of both, not just your side. the country is way more quieter .

Please anyone to read it and give any comments good or bad and any changes i should make for it to be good.

In the story “The Filipino and the Drunkard” by William Saroyan deliberates on discrimatory thinking. A war veteran who was very drunk harasses a harmless Filipino. Both the drunkard and the Filipino were going to get into a boat from San Francisco to Oakland. The drunkard had no right to treat the poor Filipino unfairly.

The drunkard frantically started to dislike the Filipino because of his race. For example, the drunkard harassed the Filipino minding his own business, “ This loud mouthed guy…took a sudden dislike to the small well dressed Filipino and began to order him around…the poor Filipino was being frightened” (pg.1). The drunkard had no right to order around the harmless little Filipino boy. The harmless little Filipino boy was just minding his business. Furthermore, the drunkard kept abusing the Filipino, “He kept saying. You fellows are the best dressed men in San Francisco and you make your money washing dishes” (pg.1). Well at least the Filipino was more hardworking than the no good low lived drunkard. He did not have the right to say things like that to someone that was a more hardworking person he will ever be. The drunkard did not have the right to justify someone because of their race.

The drunkard out of nowhere disliked the young Filipino boy. An example is, when the drunkard swore at the boy, “As time went on, the drunkard’s dislike grew and began to swear at the boy” (pg.1). The vicious drunkard humiliated the poor boy by cussing him out in front of a crowd of people. Humiliating the boy made him angry and eventually took action against these dishonorable actions of the drunkard. In addition, the boy did nothing to the drunkard, “Go away, said the boy. I’ve done nothing to you…” (pg.1). It was inequitable for the intoxicated man to bully anyone out of nowhere. Out of nowhere, this horrid drunk attacked this boy and maybe would have even attacked more people. The boy did nothing to the drunkard and yet the drunkard still attacked him.

The drunkard had no right to treat the poor Filipino unfairly. The Filipino’s response to these actions was self defense but how can the conflicts had been solved if one was very unjust?
